About

This blog is a place for reflection on both the theory and practice of secondary education.  I am looking forward to using this as a place to express my troubles and triumphs in teaching 12th grade Language Arts in an urban environment.  I hope to get feedback from others who can sympathize with or contribute to my sometimes wandering, sometimes focused, musings on this blog.  This is the second semester of my first year of teaching, and I have learned so much in the last five months, but I know that I will constantly adapt, evolve, and improve my teaching strategies.  I hope that this blog will serve as a forum through which I can express these changes.  Please join me on my journey!
